Discover the best of Vilnius and Trakai on one private 5-hour tour. We combine the visit to Trakai Island Castle with a tour of the hidden gems of Vilnius to give you the best overview of Lithuania. You will learn about the history and the people of Lithuania from our experienced local guides.

Trakai village is much loved by locals for its authentic vibe and the beautiful little wooden houses. The most important sight is the Trakai Island Castle, accessible only over a bridge. We’ll walk around Trakai village, learn about the fascinating Karaims people, and take in picturesque views of the Trakai Island Castle.

Bring your sense of adventure and be ready to explore off the beaten path in Vilnius. We’ll take you out of the Old Town and to places you will never think to go on your own. We'll hike up one of the highest hills in Lithuania, the Hill of Three Crosses to get a panoramic view of the Vilnius Old Town. We’ll also visit one of the most famous churches in Lithuania - the stunning Baroque style St Peter and Paul’s Church.

During this tour we don’t have a planned lunch stop. If you would like to visit a local restaurant to try some Lithuanian food then please let us know in advance. You can also bring your own packed lunch or the guide can make a stop to buy snacks on the way. Make sure to inform your guide about special dietary or any other needs you may have.

We took this toor in our last day in Vilnius. The guide Laura was amazing! She presented us Vilnius old town with it’s beautiful historic monuments and Trakai National Park with the majestic medieval island castle, traditional village and romantic manor which are all sorunded by nature! PS: Vilnius it’s a very green city!

We had such a great day on the Trakai tour, my favourite was the nature walk through the swamp and the castles were so beautiful too. We had the traditional "kibinai" for lunch, which was really tasty. And our guide Adam was fantastic, he told us a lot of cool stories and we learnt so much about Lithuanian history. He was very friendly and happy to answer all our questions. We felt like travelling with a local friend. I would absolutely recommend the tour for anyone
